Shirley Tool Shed Privacy Statement

- billing or purchase information
We collect your personal information in order to:
- operate the Shirley Tool Shed, manage your membership, and lend tools to you.
Besides our staff, we share this information with:
- MyTurn website provider in order to manage the borrowing of tools from the Shirley Tool Shed.
- Stripe payment processing platform in order to process your online payments to the Shirley Tool Shed. You can choose to not enter your bank/credit card information and instead pay by cash at the Shirley Tool Shed when you lend tools.
Providing information is optional. However, if you choose not to enter your name, address, email address, contact phone number, we'll be unable to accept you as a member of the Shirley Tool Shed and you will not be able to borrow tools from the Shirley Tool Shed. We will ask you to show us documents to confirm your identity and address the first time you loan tools from the Shirley Tool Shed.
We keep your information safe by storing it on the Shirley Tool Shed online platform and only allowing the Administrators of the Shirley Tool Shed to access it. We use MyTurn as the website provider for the Shirley Tool Shed online platform. MyTurn maintains security of the website platform to keep your information secure.
We keep your information for one year after your membership of the Shirley Tool Shed ends at which point we securely destroy it by securely erasing all digital copies of the information.
You have the right to ask for a copy of any personal information we hold about you, and to ask for it to be corrected if you think it is wrong.
